SPEAKERS: Anita Mlakar, Sandi Bitenc and Miguel Francis

About AMA: An exciting AMA with Miguel Francis, CEO & Founder of The Future is Now Media Group. Miguel is the creator of the renowned The Future is Now Film and a Filmmaker, Advisor and PR Expert. Together we’ll be discussing the TFIN movie and developments in Web3.

AMA Duration: 55:39

Introduction:

Anita Mlakar: 00:27

Hello, everybody, and welcome to 3air’s AMA, I’m sorry for a little delay. But we are here now and going live, looking forward to this next, let’s say hour or 50 minutes that we will be together. I’m really happy that you’re with us. And of course, use the opportunity to ask questions, to write, comment, whatever you feel like it, you can write it down. Anita Mlakar is my name. I’m the host of this AMA. And of course, our CEO, Sandi Bitenc will be joining me in a couple of minutes. And we also have a special guest coming up. So, stay tuned, stay here.

01:02

Let me do a short introduction of our project of 3air of what we are doing. But first, I would also like to invite you to be a part of our communities. We are of course very active on Telegram, on Discord, and on Twitter. And of course, do subscribe to this YouTube channel so that you will get notifications when we are going live.

01:24

Once again, what are we doing? We are a blockchain platform that enables individuals and businesses to thrive on Web3 by providing broadband internet connectivity. And we are providing real services to the people. And of course, we will be here for the years to come. Our project is focused on wide range of digital services and internet to our prospective users in Africa. So, what we are trying to do is connect the unconnected, bank the unbanked and actually we are connecting people of Africa to internet and we’re doing that with two technologies that is K3 Last Mile Solution and our 3air internet. What will happen, they will get digital identity from us. We also create their digital bank account. We are giving them a wallet. The next step is providing financial services, we also have outside partners that will provide additional digital revenue streams and all this time we are also educating people and that is the real empowerment. So, this is what 3air is doing and we are happy to have you onboard.

02:35

I would like to invite Sandi, who always tells us more about that and of course about what is happening at 3air.

Sandi Bitenc, CEO of 3air Joins the AMA:

Anita Mlakar: 02:43

Sandi, hello and welcome best regards to Miami.

Sandi Bitenc: 02:49

Hello, Anita and all the best back to you too. I think you’re right in snowy Maribor, Slovenia, right?

Anita Mlakar: 02:57

Almost snowy, it’s still raining but they say the snow will come so yeah. Let’s say that it will be also snowy, but it’s not snow in Miami though.

Sandi Bitenc: 03:08

No, I don’t think. I don’t think we will have really danger of getting some snow here. It’s actually 30 degrees and really hot and humid.

Anita Mlakar: 03:26

So, you feel like in Dubai, right?

Sandi Bitenc: 03:29

Dubai is much cooler right now.

What is Sandi doing in Miami?

Anita Mlakar: 03:33

But you like it warm I remember that, so Miami is really good for you. Better than Slovenia but I hope you will be coming to Slovenia because Christmas is coming up, but we will be talking about that. Sandi, what are you doing in Miami?

Sandi Bitenc: 03:48

We are here for the DCENTRAL so yesterday and the day before was the DCENTRAL Conference. So, kind of probably the biggest NFT and Metaverse conference in Miami. And tomorrow there is Art Basel starting and Art Basel in the last years also became quite crypto NFT focused.

Anita Mlakar: 04:12

Okay, are you enjoying time there? Is it very busy?

Sandi Bitenc: 04:18

It is busy. It’s no parties for me actually. Too much work and we’re so tired. And once the time hits 7-8pm we’re dead. The jetlag is really, it’s actually nine hours difference to Dubai.

Anita Mlakar: 04:41

Oh my god. So actually, you would be sleeping right now I think in Dubai, but you’re having like 11 o’clock there.

Sandi Bitenc: 04:50

Yeah, it’s 11am in Dubai here it’s 7pm.

Anita Mlakar: 04:54

Okay, Sandi we will be talking about that, but we have a special guest coming up. And I would really like to invite him because I know he’s very busy. And like you on the way all the time. And of course, on the conferences, on events and stuff like that. But I would really like to say hello to our special guests. Miguel Francis Santiago is with us. And let’s just invite him in.

Miguel Francis-Santiago joins the AMA:

Anita Mlakar: 05:22

Hello and welcome.

Miguel Francis: 05:24

Hi! Anita, Sandy and the community out there. How are you, my friends? I’m also in Dubai. We are currently a part of an event, which is one of the top 50 cryptocurrencies. It just sort of threw a general mixer for the folks in the space during this bearish situation we’re experiencing. So very nice of them to do that. And couldn’t miss that one out. Thank you for having me. Sorry to be on such a, sort of uncanny pool area of the event. But hopefully it works.

Miguel introduction and the work that he does:

Anita Mlakar: 06:16

Yes, it does work. We do hear you. We do understand you. And of course, I hope you’ll be able to answer a couple of questions that we have for you really looking forward to that. Let me just say that Miguel Francis is the founder, and CEO of The Future is Now, Media Group. But I would really like you to tell us a little more about yourself, Miguel, so that we get to know you better.

Miguel Francis: 06:41

Sure. We are in this space for about five years now. Through the years we’ve been helping companies brand position and get out the message that many of them carries, especially those that have a real working product and that are truly standing, flowering the people with this technology and we certainly have come into a partnership with 3air because it’s certainly one of those that truly has a product that is working, that is live out in Sierra Leone, and there it is truly empowering the people, equipping them in the tools that Web3 is now offering. It’s been very exciting over the last five years as we managed to work with such entities like TRON, Brock Pierce, AIBC Summit, KuCoin, etc. And it’s really been a ride, truly trying to educate and scale the message behind this space to the masses, and also within the community. That is what we do as part of The Future is Now film, which is our flagship product that 3air has co-produced with us in this year’s AIBC Summit in Dubai, an episode which you will be able to see coming out within this month, as we’re going into December. So, we are releasing it before the years and it’s been a wild ride in terms of post-production for that one, but it’s been an amazing episode featuring Sandi Bitenc, Nick Spanos, Queen Diambi, Akon and a lot of people that are currently working in empowering Africa. And so certainly the spotlight is on 3air. And it’s gonna be an exciting story, I think for everyone to see. And to really get deep down with Sandi, into a deep dive behind the company. And really the main question which I asked him Which is- Why are you here? Why are you in this space? And Sandi certainly gave us a great download on that so stay tuned for that “The Future is Now film, AIBC Dubai-2022” called “Saving The future- The Future is Now film. Thank you for the opportunity to intro and kind of give a little precursor of what we’ve been doing together with 3air.

Sandi Bitenc: 09:28

So, in the end if you agree we’ll show also your three-minute trailer to your films because I think it’s really amazing. It can be seen also on YouTube, and we put your YouTube link down below, so everyone just go there and subscribe. There are so many really good movies like really top level and yeah, if you agree we’ll just show it at the end.

Miguel Francis: 09:58

Absolutely! We can do the eight minute essentially feature film which features or the 3-minute Netflix trailer, which is awesome. It does kind of show the amazing people from five years and their stories.

Sandi Bitenc: 10:24

We will show the 3 minute one and then everyone will go in and also look at the AIBC trailer, the eight minute or nine minute one.

Miguel Francis: 10:35

Sounds awesome!

Anita Mlakar: 10:36

Yeah, I was checking the films at your website. They’re really amazing. We were just talking about it.

Movie trailer:

Sandi Bitenc: 11:16

We’ll show the movie now while we wait.

Anita Mlakar: 11:18

Yeah. Okay, let’s see the trailer.

Link to the trailer: 12:59

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBBLKp2X8jY

Link to the trailer: 14:40

That was awesome!

Anita Mlakar: 14:58

Okay, it was awesome. I think Miguel is also with is.

Miguel Francis: 15:02

Yes, I am back. Thank you for playing that and I am glad that liked it. Thank you for playing that, Anita. We have confirmed a release with Netflix however we’re working with TRON as this one of our first Netflix documentary because of the market on all of these situations that is currently happening it’s not new or not even unexpected. I’d say it’s a flight to the orbit which Justin Sun was supposed to do with his five crypto years and so in the beginning of the filming or for all the actual sort of goals of this five year journey, me so better late than never so we will get back to it as the whole market is going right now on this sort of transformation which is exciting is it really inspire those players that don’t have substance that’s great to see the projects like 3air actually withstanding the storm, building and delivering the products that they’ve set out to create so I am proud to be working with you guys.

Sandi Bitenc: 16:33

Thank you, Miguel.

Why do you think “Film” is the right media to educate the viewers?

Anita Mlakar: 16:37

Thank you. It’s really nice to also have 3air included into this films. But my question is Miguel why film? What power does let’s say film have in comparison to other media, what can film do to the viewers or how can they educate them? Why film?

Miguel Francis: 17:02

Yeah, for me, it’s always been the power of cinema, I was a film school graduate. During my years in school and my career working both for news media, the power of connections that cinema provides. In 2018 as I was still working for Centralized international, even though I was very much free in my actual tutorial, as I created a show called Cryptolium and I was really spearheading blockchain media, on to international line when much of the mainstream media was creating a lot of fud, sort of public run of 2017-2018. But in a position, where I realized that as I got into Bitcoin that I am now able to facilitate, that is able to create that connects, create an educationary platform of infotainment, if you will, something that can get the information they need, on the subject while also being entertained, connection with the industry and the innovators and really, what is decentralization and what it created which is Web3, right? Certainly, I’m not a maximumalist but I’m certainly aware of the important element as the market is going through these turbulent times where the crypto is not a big circle as everybody thought and Bitcoin is this little circle. Bitcoin the line is this big circle over here while crypto is here to facilitate the connection the right way. If you could read the Bitcoin White paper, you’ll be able to really capture that this product was meant to enable the world and this is not a plug in just an honest opinion of mine that 3air certainly does that. Where it truly serves as the interface to that Web3 connection for those people in need banked and being educated on the subject. That’s I think, my goal. My goal is to find such as Sandi and 3air to the reality behind the vision, so it exempt behind the premise, and I think that’s important. Because there’s is a real use case for people to understand. So that is it in a nutshell. Long intro as usual.

What was the most exciting thing for you that came across in the film making?

Anita Mlakar: 20:50

Tell me, Miguel, while you were filming, and are filming and talking to so many interesting people. What was one of let’s say, the most exciting things that you came across in the making, let’s say of your movies and film?

Miguel Francis: 21:10

Well, certainly McAfee may he rest in peace. He was in three of our films, at the Blockchain Cruise, the Futurama and in Malta blockchain Summit, which then later got with Eman Pulis, which is also the gathering that was behind that facilitated our meeting between 3air and the Futures is Now. And just as his really holistic approach, and information is the sort of words that he gave. One time, he said to me in 2018, “And the half that does not is going to be the half that probably doesn’t have smartphones or any access to the internet,“. And believe it or not, it seems to be true. It seems to be that Nigeria, Korea is take out of necessity, not out of excitement of the use, but out of necessity. And it’s true, things in need are adapting this technology, and those who are connected are huge, because it serves even better than their own currencies. You know, so really John, with his ballistic and very kind of a, in a good way crypto punkish approach, if you will, to the subject that was truly be citing several times that we’ve managed to get that from him. And it is very unfortunate that he’s not no longer with us because he may have been fuded as he may have been by the main stresses out there. He was truly visionary, he really lived up to it, I think this is part of the reason why he succeeded in his life. Because he withhold perused the dream of decentralization. A lot of things currently consider normal are not normal. Because there are people that are no different from the new and I that are no different from the new from you and I. Even as far as the positioning in the really no different than you and I and as we are moving, we realize this, as there’s more and more of us on this planet, it’s over population, I say it’s over control, it’s very hard to control a population that is eventually growing. Whereas if you let the this increasing population of the planet, be able to be their own governors, all sudden you have an all-encompassing world and I think this is what we’re trying to achieve. He kind of gave us that thought to develop because that that is what inspired me for a lot of my work. Sort of our ideology if you will.

Anita Mlakar: 24:56

There was a sentence in the film. If I remember it correct. li decentralized world is coming. Right? And it was really pointed out.

Miguel Francis: 25:09

By Draper. Yeah!

What attracted Miguel in to Crypto Space?

Anita Mlakar: 25:13

Yeah. Miguel, another question, I was really impressed about your knowledge about your experiences, we do have, in a way similar path when it comes to PR, media hosting and stuff like that. And I was really wondering, because of all the knowledge that you have, and everything that you were doing, and we are also consulting startups and everything, what was it that attracted you or put you into crypto?

Miguel Francis: 25:40

I was really working for a cause that is going to allow us to be free from the centralized control. And as someone who grew up and says, a Russian American, in my whole life, my dad is Chilean, as Russian Ukrainian, it’s a great time to be me. I’ve seen, you know, one claim to be free, other one claim to be traditional. But both are very much about control. And about manipulating in public on both sides. You know, there’s certainly no democracy. That’s been misused politically. And it’s been used to control people and acquiesce. There’s certainly no traditional value unless they fit the political narrative of the autocratic. So, to me, crypto is the reason why I got in is because I grew up to be a global citizen, I say global because every time I’d be in America, I would be subdued to that propaganda. Every time I go back to Moscow, you know, my relatives, etc., I’d be subjugated to that propaganda. And it’s all but it’s been propaganda to keep the control of that particular nation. It’s always been that way.

Miguel Francis: 27:35

So crypto allows us to start creating our own good propaganda- it is not a bad word. Propaganda is a good word. It’s actually using to an opinion, or a fact. That is correct. So, in my case, decentralization and the idea of intrinsic immutable value of yourself, it’s close to home. And so, creating the visuals and creating that view allows me to be away from nation, to be bound by borders. And I think this is really what the last five years as we’ve been travelling from nation to nation, taking our value with us, in our brain, of 12 or 24 words. But, unless of course, they resort to physical violence, which is very unfortunate. That’s the sort of ideology that hit home to me to feel free, for the first time to feel a true citizen able to connect with all these amazing people that I’ve met along the way, like brothers and sisters of all creeds and races. And I think that’s really what excites me. That’s why I’m here because I want us to be truly together. Not in a way that serves an idea of government. No! right? We don’t need a government. We do need to work world, a one world but we don’t need to be governed we are now in the position to govern ourselves. There’s opportunity and through this technology automate the prophecies that have unnecessary bureaucracies. I’m sure, you guys are from Slovenia, you know what I’m talking about. You know, we’ve been through it all. And so yeah, at the end of the day, that’s why I’m here to truly become a citizen of the world, a universal. And that, to me is freedom. That to me is freedom.

Anita Mlakar: 30:37

Thank you very much, Miguel, I did receive a message that we are having a little problems with connection and that you are interrupted, every now and then we do understand what you’re saying but we have a little more problem with that for that understanding you because the message that you have for us is so important. Now, I would really like you, Miguel, if this will be also the issue now that you would be joining us. Please do that. Sandi, I hope that is okay, that we have some another opportunity also to hear more from Miguel. And what he has a stable connection because I really have some more questions for him and that he could continue that in some other AMA that we will be having. Is that okay?

Sandi Bitenc: 31:25

Yeah, I think so. We’ll probably invite Miguel once more. When he’s maybe not at an event. And the connection is possibly a bit better.

Miguel Francis: 31:37

I can hear you guys now.

Sandi Bitenc: 32:11

Okay, maybe just turn off the camera and let’s see if it’s better.

Miguel Francis: 32:17

I can reconnect.

Sandi Bitenc: 32:20

No, I don’t think. It was the same in the beginning. So, I think it’s something else we’ll will reschedule somewhere in the next two weeks.

How Sandi and Miguel met?

Anita Mlakar: 32:37

I think he totally lost the connection, I can see that. It’s a really poor connection right now. I’m sorry. I’m really sorry. Because this is such an interesting conversation. I have more questions. And I know that we will be having another opportunity next time. So, thank you very much, Miguel, if you do hear us for being with us, for being our guest. So, Sandi, it’s just you and me right now. Okay, this is really interesting educating people through film, through media like that. And like, he says, he has this path, and he has this goal to really reach them. And I’m so happy Sandi that 3air is of part of this story. What was your relationship? Or how did you come across Miguel?

Sandi Bitenc: 33:27

So, we actually met at the AIBC in Dubai, I think that was in March, April, something like that. And we were introduced by Max, we had Max a few weeks ago on our AMA. So yeah, then we just agreed and started working together. So, we filmed a lot in Dubai on the AIBC. The most of the film was there. But we recently met with Miguel me also in Malta, on the AIBC there and that was a surprise, I didn’t expect him to be there. So, we found something in addition, I don’t know where exactly it’s going to be if he is putting this in the film in the current film or in the next one. But we did a few interviews. And so, it was really cool. And I really do like the films that he is doing. And they’re at the level that you really want to watch them because they’re really interesting. So it’s not what we usually have currently in the blockchain crypto space are more or less such conversations that we’re having and they’re fine. There’s a lot of information, but there’s also a lot of information that goes maybe a bit deeper or anything like that. But having a movie with a lot of really cool people inside and making it so that it’s interesting. It has more feelings to it. It’s going to have far greater reach. And that’s what we’re looking for right now, expanding the reach. So, I do hope that the film actually gets on Netflix. That would be amazing.

Anita Mlakar: 35:19

Yeah, and then like you said, that is the power of cinema. It’s really different than other media and Juels. He came in a little later. And he says, I’ve missed a sneak peek of The Future is Now film, where can I watch it? Oh, I see that Miguel is here.

Anita Mlakar: 35:39

Yeah.

Miguel Francis: 35:41

I’m sorry. I heard you, by the way, guys perfectly the whole time. I think I was breaking up. I think that was the issue.

Sandi Bitenc: 35:52

Yeah, you’re breaking up a bit. But your audio is getting maybe a bit delayed.

Miguel Francis: 36:05

Hey, when are you in Dubai Sandi? Because maybe we can do one live one in one of our studios here on a nice streaming camera. I’d be more than happy. Absolutely on our friendly basis and we can do that in studio chat. Wouldn’t that be great?

Sandi Bitenc: 36:24

That would be great!

Miguel Francis: 36:25

We can have to interview us, and we can have Anita be our host on a live screen.

Sandi Bitenc: 36:36

That will be cool. I am flying back to Dubai on the sixth. But I think that’s Wednesday, we have our AMAs on Wednesdays. So, I’ll be on the plane during next AMA. So, I think we’ll skip the next one. So next Wednesday, there will be no AMA. So, the next one is on 14th of December.

Miguel Francis: 37:07

Yeah. Hey, I’d love to do this again in the better place. I do about apologize I did not get a better connection here because I have my perfect virgin 5g. But apparently. I bet if I was on 3air connection right now, it’d be way better off.

Sandi Bitenc: 37:27

Probably. 4g is usually better because it’s a bit more stable than 5g.

Miguel Francis: 37:36

Why don’t we put some microwave waves in the Arab Emirates? Wouldn’t that be great to cover Dubai? Well, actually, a Web3 crypto currency experience in Dubai. I think that fits right in with the current on the future of Web3. Here’s an idea!

Sandi Bitenc: 38:00

Would be interesting. Yeah, it would be interesting.

Anita Mlakar: 38:05

Yeah, good idea.

Sandi Bitenc: 38:08

We will do it on the 14th of December. What do you say? And I think on the 14th we also have the CPI numbers coming out.

Miguel Francis: 38:19

We’re gonna have the film out by then Insha’Allah. Our 45-minute masterpiece.

Anita Mlakar: 38:34

Okay, do we have a date?

Miguel Francis: 38:40

I’m not guaranteeing, I’m saying Insha’Allah. But I just hope it can get it out in two weeks. Who knows because you know how it goes with films. As an author, I pick out all the sound bites, side by side that I like to create. And I take my voice over, my narration, and I write the script, and I sound bites to separate them into story blocks. And then that and then I also transcribe every single interview and every single bit of voice over for each speaker, and then once I get that, that’s called the fish. Then send it to the team, it’s about two or three guys, the sound editor, graphics editor. And so, what we do is then we plug in, and I also choose much of the music for our films, and we place the music that I like, and then we do the technical edit. We actually Hyper lapse the camera work, we actually do the montage, then we do the sound editing, the sea, the air, that and that. And then we do reduction, at the end of all that. And so, by that time I watch the 5-minute film at least 50 to 80 time. So that’s what it takes to actually get that quality because, you know, I’ve do little bit of my research that I do. And I truly try to invigorate an enlighten that, really not even scale, but just show the true sight of the film. And to get that sight out of them and the constant feel to really get it perfect. And I think you’re gonna see Sandi throughout the whole film. And he really talks about the space. He talks about the 3air. And he talks about, but much of the prevalent problems that we are having because it’s almost like Sandi predicted the future in our interview back in March of this year.

Sandi Bitenc: 41:26

I don’t remember anymore what I said so.

Miguel Francis: 41:30

And you should leave it all up to me. All right. Well guys, thanks so much for this. I’m sorry for any lag issues. I’m next. You know, this should have the best internet.

Anita Mlakar: 41:49

Yeah, you should.

Miguel Francis: 41:51

It’s not so nice. So, I do apologies for that. Thank you for having me on one. And if we can do this again, as our film is out later this month, that would be amazing.

Sandi Bitenc: 42:04

Yeah, let’s do that. Absolutely. I would love that.

Anita Mlakar: 42:08

We would really love that. And thank you very much for taking time for being with us today. It was really nice. And I’m looking forward to all other stories. And all the answers that you will give us. Thank you very much, Miguel. 3air.

Sandi Bitenc: 42:22

Thank you.

Anita Mlakar: 42:25

Bye.

Miguel Francis: 42:25

Bye. See you guys soon. Thank you!

Sandi Bitenc: 42:28

Thank You. Bye.

Miguel Francis: 42:29

See you soon.

Anita Mlakar: 42:30

Bye and have a great event at Dubai. Wow, really amazing. It really takes a lot of work to do such a film. And I can only imagine if you put your heart and your soul into your films, then you’re not satisfied with something average. And yet it has to be the best. And I think this is what Miguel is doing. And I’m really looking forward to that film with you. Sandi and 3air.

Sandi Bitenc: 42:59

Me too. I would really love. So, I think that will be the first video that I will look that I’m in. I usually don’t watch anything that I’m in.

Anita Mlakar: 43:14

Okay, I did watch a film where you were in, I watched it you know, with apnea or what? At the sea side where you were… Yeah, it was good. It was amazing. But that was a whole another story. Okay, we did answer Juels in the meantime. I hope that Juels is satisfied with an answer because he wanted to know where he can find the films.

Sandi Bitenc: 43:58

This is actually the link to YouTube.

Weekly Market update by Sandi?

Anita Mlakar: 44:03

The Future is Now, alright. And this is where you can watch and also at their website, their other films really interesting. Sandi, do you want to do a short market update is there something to add something to tell?

Sandi Bitenc: 44:19

Yeah, maybe just a bit. So, what’s happening right now we’re still in the midst of the FTX contagion. So, we still are feeling the effects. Don’t know how much is really already factored in, but there might be still some companies that might go down because of it. The latest fud is a bit around the Nexo. So, there was some fud going around. About Binance that would be really bad, but I think Binance is fine. They should be fine. They’re actually the ones driving the proof of reserves and so on, but we see people leaving centralized entities, centralized exchanges and everything. I think, that in a sense if it needed to happen, what happened. That’s actually a good thing. I saw there a comment that some people should be removed from some videos and movies and so on. I don’t agree, we should also look at what happened and who were the bad players and what they said and how they were presented and try to learn about that, if we just erase history, we cannot learn from it. So, we should not have this happen anymore. I think, thinking and not trusting centralized exchanges anymore, or any lending platforms or anything like that is what we really should take out of it. If it needed to happen. That’s the one good thing about it, I guess. And it can make everything more stable for the future and make it far harder for some bad people to take money away from others to steal and so on.

Sandi Bitenc: 46:16

It’s interesting how the FTX drama is evolving. So SBF is right now, still in the Bahamas living in his mansion. There are some people that went there trying to find him and so on. So BitBoy was the one- I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. I do think that SBF should be put in jail or let’s give him a fair trial, something like that. But it doesn’t look like even that is gonna happen right now. So, also, I’ve been listening to his interviews that he’s been doing, and I think tomorrow, he should be live on an event. I don’t think he’ll fly there. So, he’ll be probably online, but he should have a live interview there and that’ll be interesting. But for what he has done up until now what he said it’s just like, oh my god, it’s really going into comical things. And he actually said he allowed unauthorized withdrawals from people from the Bahamas. Because it’s hard to live in a country with a lot of angry people, oh come on, like, I can understand what he is sneaking. But you cannot say this out in public and out loud. It’s just it’s unimaginable, what’s really happening. So, let’s see.

Sandi Bitenc: 46:30

There’s for sure a lot of people that are in pain right now because of that, and I think SBF should be held accountable on for this. But we see that also a lot of the media, the official media, the mainstream media is covering up for him.

Sandi Bitenc: 48:23

Genesis global might be one of the next one. I don’t know if we were talking about that last week. But this week, there is a bit hope about that. Genesis Global is actually one of the biggest crypto entities out there doing a lot of stuff with OTC trading deals and so on with a lot of institutions. And they were looking for 1 billion in capital raise additionally, to provide the needed liquidity. So, they were looking like going illiquid. And they’re actually a part of a group called DCG or Digital Crypto Group. They’re one of the OGS in the space. They started, I think back in 2015, or something like that. And they’re invested in a lot of projects and two biggest ones are probably Genesis and Greyscale with the GBC Trust. So, everyone was thinking that they will bail out Genesis, but they said probably not. So, it didn’t look really good for quite some time. But just today I think or yesterday some information came out that apparently something about above 2 billion fundraise is kind of ongoing and it looks promising. So hopefully this will go through because if we see Genesis collapse, we’ll probably see a big drop in Bitcoin. So it’s still scary times, it’s still uncertain times and we literally don’t have the full information about what’s going on with Genesis. And for me, that’s right now the biggest thing that can drive the markets down.

Sandi Bitenc: 50:20

Else what we’ve seen and it’s really good is, some information came out of Brazil, that Brazil is recognizing Bitcoin as a means of payment and as a means of investment. So, they’ll be recognizing this. The law has passed, I guess. And it just needs the signature right now from the President to become official. So, this is probably, it’s not legal tender, but its first step towards this. And Brazil is really big. So, I think that’s something that’s went unnoticed for a now, but it’s huge, in my opinion.

Sandi Bitenc: 51:04

Then the one silly thing that I saw yesterday, or actually, today in the morning, is that ECB. So, the European Central Bank, wrote a blog post, I think the blog post was titled, bitcoins last stand, and they’re like, all over Bitcoin. And it’s really funny, when you read that it’s just WTF, are you really that scared of Bitcoin? To actually be writing that? Yeah, it’s full of bullshit, to be honest. So that’s a bit of an update. We’ve seen a bit of a rally up to 17k for Bitcoin, but we’re right now stuck there. And more or less trading between 16 and 17k. It’s impossible to predict anything right now. So, whoever says Who knows where bitcoin is going, it’s like a total guess. Unless, if Genesis is gonna collapse, then you can say, okay, it’s going down. But it you don’t if, you don’t have that information. It can as easily go up as it can go down.

What is next?

Anita Mlakar: 52:35

Thank you very much, Sandi, for the update. Really deep, I have to say you really know what is going on at the market. As always, I don’t see any more questions from our community. That means that you have answered the questions that they might have had. And we are actually coming to the end of this AMA. Sandi, what will you be doing till the sixth? Like I said, the 6th of December you are staying there, right?

Sandi Bitenc: 53:07

Yeah, so 6th In the evening, we have the flight back. And the next two days, so, tomorrow and the day after is Art Basel. Also having some meetings here, with some friends and some investors, potential investors. So, and then afterwards, we’ll probably go a bit around, see a bit of Miami until for the next three days and then fly back to Dubai. And we were supposed to fly to Egypt right after we landed in Dubai in a few hours, but Egypt got postponed. So, they said I’ll be postponing it until March. Next year. So, I’ll be staying in Dubai for a change for a few days.

Anita Mlakar: 54:00

Okay. That’ll be a nice, you know, just a little homey place or being at where you like to be with Petra.

Sandi Bitenc: 54:12

Yeah, we need to catch up with friends there. Actually, I haven’t been to Dubai in quite a while more than half a year.

Anita Mlakar: 54:22

Yeah, I know. It was an amazing year or half a year. So do enjoy the time that is coming Sandi. Thank you very much. We won’t be together next week, as we said on the 7th of December. Then we’ll be back on 14th with our next AMA. And of course, we’ll be looking forward to your questions and everything that will be happening, but you’re also welcome of course to be active in our communities, Discord, Telegram and Twitter. We’re really happy to have you here. So do chat, do comments, do ask questions and be a part of what we are doing. Sandi thank you very much.

Sandi Bitenc: 55:03

Thank you, Anita. Go make a snowman or something.

Anita Mlakar: 55:10

No snowflakes yet.

Sandi Bitenc: 55:13

This is the worst part right just before the rain goes to snow.

Anita Mlakar: 55:21

Yeah. But you know it’s nice to be at home in a warm place just looking out not so nice to be outside. But you know, that’s life. Okay Sunday. Have a great time. Thank you everybody for being with us and have a great evening/day/morning. Whatever it is.
